DESIGNER CRAFTSMAN FURNITURE

Kenton Jeske furniture is designed and crafted for discerning clients and patrons of the arts who see furniture as objects to express an attitude of intention and purpose. My work offers both of us the opportunity to express ourselves through the things we make and own.

Commission Policy

All designs featured have been commissioned by clients with specific requirements. All designs can be tailored.
If you are interested in an existing gallery piece or if you have a new work you would like designed please use the contact form & I will follow up with you. I take a no pressure approach to inquiries and approx. pricing requests can be made for items in the furniture gallery. I look forward to hearing from you!

Current lead time is 12-16 weeks

All pieces are Made-To-Order.
Lead times vary, due to scope.
Any materials/crating costs for shipping are additional and can be quoted.

EXPLORATORY CONVERSATION: Upon the reception of your initial interest in craftsman designed furniture, we will discuss your needs around: wood choices, functions, space requirements, dimensions, rough budget...etc.

DEVELOP A DESIGN: Building upon our exploratory conversation towards a design, there will be a design fee commensurate with the work required. The design fee will be discussed before design work commences and is non-refundable. This allows me to begin compiling the initial information (specs), sketching and finally working drawings for the design concept of the piece(s) of furniture to quote.

PAYMENT: Once the design concept is agreed upon, the cost is confirmed, a deposit of 2/3 of the quoted price will be required to secure your position in the working queue and procure materials in preparation for the build commencement date. When it comes time to begin building your piece I will inform you of an approximate completion date. The remaining 1/3 payment will be settled when the work is completed approx. 10 days prior to delivery or pick up of the piece(s). In the case of smaller items full payment up front will be required.

Design Terms | All drawings, specifications, documents, designs, intellectual property (including copyright) and data developed, prepared or compiled by Woodworker relating to any of the Furniture or this Agreement including any design work relating to the Furniture completed by Woodworker prior to the Effective Date, and all rights relating thereto, shall be Woodworker's sole and exclusive property for sole use and enjoyment by Woodworker without limitation and Customer shall have no right to use, and no license is granted hereunder to use, any such drawings, specifications, documents, designs, intellectual property (including copyright) and data developed, prepared or compiled by Woodworker.  Customer’s sole ownership interest and right to the Furniture arising out of this Agreement is the transfer of ownership of the physical Furniture in accordance with the provisions herein.
