Sculptural lines and flowing joints feature prominently in this design from Kenton Jeske. 
The work is hand shaped and constructed with traditional mortise and tenon joinery
hand fit for strength and precision.

All work is handcrafted with signature, number and date cataloging.

The Stocking Stool features a hand carved seat with traditional tools: a scorp, travisher and cabinet scraper. This stool is painted to accentuate hard lines in the sculptural elements of the work.

Painted works are brushed using Milk paint. Milk paint is a powder base paint that is hand mixed to a consistency that facilitates a particular look I am after. Pictured images are hard to capture the characteristics of the final look which has light fissures and depending on the wood species used allows grain patterns to show through while remaining opaque.
